We connect, enable, and support an open
Climate Robotics Community.
We champion diversity, inclusion & equity in
researching, developing, and deploying
robotics to scale climate action.
It's not just about the robots, of course.
Robots alone won't clean up our mess.
It's up to us to to understand the opportunities,
limits and risks of deploying Climate Robotics.
We believe in holding ourselves accountable and elevating the most ethical and impactful climate robotics efforts, individuals, startups, companies, universities, nonprofits, civil society groups, donors and VCs.
We enable inclusive learning, research, and collaboration across multiple disciplines to build the evidence base, best practices, and lessons learned for climate robotics. Learn more about Our Approach.
We are an Open Community, all are welcome.

Many climate solutions we need to tackle the climate crisis already exist. The problem is that most of these climate solutions are being deployed manually, which doesn't scale. Robotics thus has a role to play in accelerating the deployment of climate solutions.
Climate Robotics is a new and rapidly growing field that uses AI-powered robotics to scale climate action.
Flying robots can plant and monitor mangroves, collect high-resolution stratospheric data, and serve as wind turbines. Underwater robots can regenerate corals, sink seaweed, and collect data glacier. Ground robots can plant cover crops and clean solar panels. In addition, robotic arms are changing the way we recycle and manage waste.
Climate adaptation projects are meant to help us adapt to the adverse impacts of the climate crisis. Mitigation projects seek to reduce the sources of greenhouse gases or enhance the sinks. Robotics has a role to play in scaling both of these climate strategies.
